Har Amrit Kahlon

Har Amrit Kahlon (Amrit) completed his BSc. P.T. in 2001.  He started his career as a physiotherapist in a hospital setting working in an acute trauma ward for neurological and orthopaedic conditions. He started working in private practice in 2004 and has been continuously doing so. He has completed post graduate courses in:

  • Kinesiotaping
  • Functional Dry Needling
  • Concussion Management
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation
  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy in musculoskeletal management

Amrit loves his work! A tireless and enthusiastic professional, Amrit enjoys spending his time between treating patients, mentoring new graduates working in our clinic, and managing clinical direction and patient satisfaction.  He is also a mentor for the Internationally Educated Physiotherapist Exam Preparation (IEPEP) Program offered by UBC. The patient-first philosophy and engaging feel of our clinics is a direct reflection of Amrit’s own relentless personal drive to offer exceptional value to his patients at every interaction. Focusing on patient needs has freed Amrit to prioritize patient satisfaction and health outcomes, develop an exceptional team, and enjoy a deep personal reward from his work. Amrit is dedicated to evidence-based rehabilitation practices and maintaining the highest standard of care for his clients and clinics.

When not at work, you might find Amrit spending time with his kids, playing tennis, golfing, horse riding, skiing, zip lining, running or trying a new water sport.

Deepak Grover

Deepak Grover
Physiotherapist

Deepak is a physiotherapist with a lot of compassion and empathy for his patients. He treats using the latest evidence-based approach using extensive manual therapy and acupuncture skills.

He completed his BSc(H) Physical Therapy from Delhi University in 2002 and Masters of Physiotherapy in Osteomyology in 2004 with a gold medalist ranking. He started his practice by working in a multispecialty hospital in New Delhi, treating both inpatients and outpatients for various orthopaedic conditions, and providing cardiac, neurological and joint replacement rehabilitation. He also worked as a guest lecturer and examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy students in various universities across northern India. In 2008, he joined a multidisciplinary chronic pain clinic in Surrey, British Columbia, gaining valuable and in-depth knowledge about management and strategies of treating chronic pain.

Over the years he continued to learn and implement various manual therapy approaches and techniques like McKenzie and Mulligans' to further excel his hands on approach. He also holds special interest and completed advanced training in treating concussion patients, TMJ disorders and vestibular rehabilitation. Deepak also conducts assessments for custom foot orthotics and fitness evaluations for occupational testing. He has also finished his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018 to take his joint manipulation and assessment skills to the highest level. He continues to provide mentoring to interim physiotherapists working in the clinic. 

In his leisure time he enjoys travelling, spending time with his family, yoga, meditation and gardening.

Kanwarpreet Trehan

Kanwarpreet Trehan
Physiotherapist

Kanwarpreet completed his Bachelors of Physiotherapy in India.  He has been successfully registered as a physiotherapist and working in lower mainland since 2015.

Kanwarpreet believes in using a well-rounded approach to physical therapy in order to help his patients achieve their personal goals. This involves using manual therapy, while also providing exercises and education to empower his patients. He has a passion for continuing education and holds certifications in functional dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, craniosacral treatment and manipulation. Kanwarpreet believes using a client-centred approach will help his patients reduce pain, improve function and their overall quality of life. Whether you are looking to rehabilitate your injury, improve your athletic performance or return to work, Kanwarpreet will take the time to listen to you and develop a treatment plan that is best suited for you.

Outside of physiotherapy, Kanwarpreet is passionate about cricket, tennis and loves listening to music.  Kanwarpreet is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi.

Varinder Puri

Varinder Puri
Physiotherapist

Varinder Puri graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy.  In 2009 he completed his master’s degree with a specialization in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He has over 15 years of clinical experience in a hospital, polyclinic and community setting.  He also has experience as an assistant professor in a physiotherapy college. He is competent in treating patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and sports injuries and various geriatric conditions.

He has a strong background in helping patients reach maximum physical, emotional and functional capacity to improve their quality of life. He is a highly compassionate professional who is committed to building positive rapport with patients. He interacts well with patients from diverse backgrounds.  With his sense of humor and stories, he helps to alleviate the worries of his patients. 

He has been treating patients with sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, work related injuries and joint/muscle pain and dysfunction. He also has experience in treating patients with chronic pain. His treatment techniques include dry needling/IMS, manual therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, trigger point therapy, cupping, correction of posture & movement patterns through therapeutic exercise therapy.

Varinder has an amiable disposition and is an excellent team player who gets along with his colleagues and superiors.  He spends his spare time travelling, reading and spending time with his family and friends. He can communicate fluently in English, Punjabi and Hindi.

Vrushali Sheth

Vrushali Sheth
Physiotherapist

Vrushali Sheth is a registered physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people overcome pain and injury to find joy in movement and maintain an active life. Vrushali received her bachelor's degree from Rajiv Gandhi University India. She moved to Canada in 2015 and has been working as a registered therapist since 2018. She has 8+ years of experience from India and Canada in orthopedic physical therapy treating patients with acute and chronic pain, overuse and sports-related injuries, and post-surgery.

She believes in bridging the gap between traditional rehab and the ability to move and perform optimally, as well as empowering and coaching her patients to work towards goals that are most important to them.

In her free time, Vrushali enjoys spending time with her kids, and trying new restaurants with her friends and family. She also enjoys taking weekend trips with her family.

Gunraj Trehan

Gunraj Trehan graduated from the Vancouver Career college in 2019. Since then, he's always remained active within the massage therapy profession. Over his years of practice, he has honed in his treatment focus on the cases and issues that are most prevalent in our community.

Gunraj's areas of expertise are:

  • Pre and Post Natal Massage,
  • Workplace Stress
  • Headaches
  • Ergonomic Issues
  • and ICBC Claimants.

Gunraj has been an athlete all his life which has helped him in understanding various injuries and pain patterns to give adequate treatment to his clients. Techniques gunraj may use during treatment include, but are not limited to:

  • Trigger Point Therapy,
  • Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy

Gunraj has also been RMT program instructor since 2021 and has been actively helping students develop practical skills for there future careers.

Gunraj has spent most of his life in the lower mainland and has been working in various cities such as Surrey, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Aldergrove and Abbotsford, BC.
