Har Amrit Kahlon (Amrit) completed his BSc. P.T. in 2001.  He started his career as a physiotherapist in a hospital setting working in an acute trauma ward for neurological and orthopaedic conditions. He started working in private practice in 2004 and has been continuously doing so. He has completed post graduate courses in:

  • Kinesiotaping
  • Functional Dry Needling
  • Concussion Management
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation
  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy in musculoskeletal management

Amrit loves his work! A tireless and enthusiastic professional, Amrit enjoys spending his time between treating patients, mentoring new graduates working in our clinic, and managing clinical direction and patient satisfaction.  He is also a mentor for the Internationally Educated Physiotherapist Exam Preparation (IEPEP) Program offered by UBC. The patient-first philosophy and engaging feel of our clinics is a direct reflection of Amrit’s own relentless personal drive to offer exceptional value to his patients at every interaction. Focusing on patient needs has freed Amrit to prioritize patient satisfaction and health outcomes, develop an exceptional team, and enjoy a deep personal reward from his work. Amrit is dedicated to evidence-based rehabilitation practices and maintaining the highest standard of care for his clients and clinics.

When not at work, you might find Amrit spending time with his kids, playing tennis, golfing, horse riding, skiing, zip lining, running or trying a new water sport.

Deepak Grover

Deepak Grover
Physiotherapist

Deepak is a physiotherapist with a lot of compassion and empathy for his patients. He treats using the latest evidence-based approach using extensive manual therapy and acupuncture skills.

He completed his BSc(H) Physical Therapy from Delhi University in 2002 and Masters of Physiotherapy in Osteomyology in 2004 with a gold medalist ranking. He started his practice by working in a multispecialty hospital in New Delhi, treating both inpatients and outpatients for various orthopaedic conditions, and providing cardiac, neurological and joint replacement rehabilitation. He also worked as a guest lecturer and examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy students in various universities across northern India. In 2008, he joined a multidisciplinary chronic pain clinic in Surrey, British Columbia, gaining valuable and in-depth knowledge about management and strategies of treating chronic pain.

Over the years he continued to learn and implement various manual therapy approaches and techniques like McKenzie and Mulligans' to further excel his hands on approach. He also holds special interest and completed advanced training in treating concussion patients, TMJ disorders and vestibular rehabilitation. Deepak also conducts assessments for custom foot orthotics and fitness evaluations for occupational testing. He has also finished his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018 to take his joint manipulation and assessment skills to the highest level. He continues to provide mentoring to interim physiotherapists working in the clinic. 

In his leisure time he enjoys travelling, spending time with his family, yoga, meditation and gardening.

Geetu Manchanda

Geetu Manchanda

Geetu is a charming and lively physiotherapist who treats her patients with a lot of passion. She uses her expertise and experience in orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy that she gained over the last 17 years of practice to achieve patients’ goals.

Geetu has been very strong academically during her physiotherapy studies and finished her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2002 and Masters of Physiotherapy in Sports with a first position in 2004. She started working as full-time lecturer of undergraduate physiotherapy students along with treating patients in the attached outpatient department. In 2012, she joined Apex Physiotherapy and currently works at their Abbotsford location. Her strong academic background and in-depth knowledge of various orthopaedic conditions, along with her strong commitment towards excellence makes her a favourite among patients.  She uses the latest evidence in decision making and relies mainly on a hands-on approach. This allows her to achieve positive outcomes for her patients in the shortest possible time. She continues to provide mentoring to interim physiotherapists working in the clinic.

In her spare time, she loves to be with her children, enjoy travelling, shopping, cooking and reading.

Sandeep Bajaj

Sandeep Bajaj

Sandeep completed his bachelor’s degree from Kurukshetra University in 2009 and his Masters of Physiotherapy in Orthopaedics from PGIMS, Rohtak in 2013. Sandeep started his career in 2013 working at Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospital.  He worked for four years and gained very good experience working with all medical professionals. He has seen a variety of patients with musculoskeletal disorders and sports injury. From 2017 to 2019 Sandeep worked at SPS Hospital Sirsa.

Sandeep has been constant learner while being in this profession. He has continued his education by taking courses in kinesiotaping, osteopathy and myofascial release. This has allowed Sandeep to add more treatment options in order to aid in the early recovery of patients. 

Being an active person and involved in sports since childhood, Sandeep has huge interest in playing cricket, badminton and soccer. With his free time, he enjoys spending time and making memories with his kids on the sports field.

Navpreet Kesar (Navi)

Growing up overseas, Navpreet developed an aptitude for languages and speaks English, Punjabi, and Hindi. Originally, she pursued an education at PTU India and graduated to become a computer science engineer.  Following that, she spent the next six years teaching computer sciences. In 2013, she moved to Canada and began working as a receptionist at a physiotherapy clinic where her love for helping others was discovered.

In 2016, Navpreet then went on to graduate from the RMT Program at CDI College in South Surrey. During the program, she participated in countless hours of student clinic training and a number of outreach initiatives.  Her training has influenced her well-rounded approach to treatment, focusing on areas such as women and health, sports massage and other varieties of chronic conditions. With experience, Navpreet is driven to help treat a variety of conditions including headaches, frozen shoulder, sprains, carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive strain injuries and many more.  Treatment styles you can expect from Navpreet include: Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, muscle energy techniques and stretching. She also has certifications in therapeutic hot/cold stone massage therapy.

She enjoys connecting with patients and is committed to creating treatments that are effective for her patients’ personal health care needs and objectives. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Gurpreet Kaur, physiotherapist at Apex physiotherapy is known for her passion to work in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation with manual therapy, cupping therapy, dry needling, spinal and peripheral mobilization, manipulation, soft tissue release , active release, taping techniques and exercise therapy and has 9years of practical experience dealing with the patients suffering from movement disorders. Gurpreet is graduated from Guru Nanak dev University, India and has done Masters in Neurology . Her studies are focused on movement analysis, exercise physiology, and injury . Gurpreet is working with patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, work injuries, post operative patients, post fracture stiffness, cervicogenic headaches, vestibular issues, orthopedic and neurological disorders. She is also working with pediatric patients and children with postural issues. She is dedicated towards patients recovery and loves to see her clients reach their goals. Since she is working as a kinesiologist as well, she strongly believes that being active and doing strengthening exercises in recovery phase contributes a lot to avoid future injuries. That's why clients come to appreciate her help with recovering. Gurpreet prescribes exercise programs for the clients according to their job demands/work duties and is focused towards the improvement of client's overall endurance. Apart from this she works on analysis of body mechanics and educates her clients for correct body postures and ergonomics.

In her free time she loves to explore new things in the field of physiotherapy and human health . She enjoys spending time with her children and husband and enjoying outdoor activities with them, listening music , singing and trying new foods .
